Meet Your Guide

Dr. Candace Reese is a college professor, educational strategist, author, and founder of Are You Ready, Inc. For nearly three decades, she has helped students and adult learners navigate important educational decisions with clarity, confidence, and purpose.

Drawing from her experience designing educational pathways, developing bridge programs, and teaching in higher education, Dr. Reese created Degree by Design™ to help adults better understand themselves before investing in a degree, certification, or career transition.

She believes education is one of life's greatest investments and that understanding yourself should come before choosing the path ahead. Through guided reflection, strengths exploration, and personalized educational planning, she helps learners design educational pathways that support the life they want to build.
