An Introduction to Rhetoric and Composition

The Mythology and Belief Lab includes exercises and videos to develop your basic understanding of rhetoric, composition, and editing.

This section of the lab includes the following:

Lab 4 - Topics, Topic Sentences, and Thesis Statements

Lab 5 - Speaker, Occasion, and Audience

Lab 6 - Purpose and Tone

Lab 7 - Writing to Entertain

Lab 8 - Sentence Structure, Fragments, and Run-ons

Lab 9 - Subject and Verb Agreement

Lab 10 - Comma Usage

Certificate of Completion

At the end of certain sections, you will have a quiz. In order for you to receive a certificate of completion for this course, you will have to score at least 80% on each section. It should take about an hour to go through this process. If you don't have an hour, don't worry. You can stop and return at any point to complete the process.

Once you complete the final lab, you will receive a certification of completion.
